The majority of Churchill’s Post-16 students go on to university. This year that includes Cambridge, where Mathew Sample, (above)with Marie Jobson - Learning Coordinator for Post-16 and David Baldwin - Headteacher) currently in Year 13 will be studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics, Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Edinburgh, Leeds and York. In the last few years the range of courses Post-16 students have gone onto include: Medicine,
Nursing, Mathematics, English Literature, Law, Sciences, Engineering and Teacher Training. The support students receive from the Post-16 Team in the college has been highly praised by OfSTED. Students really value that support. ‘The level of help and support I have had with my work and with my UCAS application is amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more,’ a Year 13 student commented.
